Classic Nautical Stripes Trend for Spring – Tall Women Clothing

There’s a huge nautical influence coming up for Spring 2010, and as for me I have always love nautical stripes whether in navy and white or black and white. This is a timeless  and classic look as seen from Coco Chanel in the 1930’s, including Audrey Tatou playing Chanel in the movie Coco Avant Chanel. It can be easily be accessories with a single long-chain necklace  be it pearls or beads. So be prepare to update your stripy look for spring 2010.

Punk Rock Trend – Tall Stud Leather Jacket

Punk rock influences are so evident this season in the form of  studs, zippers, skinny trousers, leggings, leather jackets and more. So if you like the rocker look, Top Shop was the only place that I discovered studded leather for tall women. I know not many would like the cream colour. but I regret to inform that it’s the only colour available at the moment.

Retail price is £160 in UK Size 10 to 16.

Trend Spotting: Tall Sequins Short Blazer

With so many sparkly and glittery clothes out there, it looks as if the stars have taken to the streets with the newest item : The Sequins Blazer. You can create a casual or dress up looks with this outerwear, the trend is showing up everywhere from fashion magazines to red carpet events.

Below, I have created a look which is muted in colours and thereby using the short sequin blazers as a statement piece. You don’t even need to go and splash out on new outfits rather you can new life to old clothes in your wardrobe by wearing the shimmery blazer.

Christmas Party Look – Tall Sequins Mini Skirts

Why not dazzle on the dance floor this Christmas with Top Shop sequins mini skirt. Sequins skirts can be paired with a casual t shirt or tank top for a casual look, with the option of adding tall boots or ankle boots or heel to finish off the look.

Alternatively, for a edgy glam look, you can add biker jacket.

For a punk look, you could go for a graphic t shirt with studded ankle booties.

One could also experiment with fitted cardigan for a ladylike look. There I have gone for classic look, by pairing the sequins skirts with a slim fitted black shirt.
