As lace tops or tunics can be described as feminine, flattering and flirty, they are also comfortable and easy to wear as a dress ( depending on the length). The spot lace tunic from Topshop does have the features of period or Victorian clothing but much more modern. I really like the pleated voluminous sleeves and elasticated cuffs.

As well pairing the top with slim fit jeans, cordoury with boots, it can also work with bootcut or straight trousers with high heels.

I hope that by reading the title of this article, you don’t all of a sudden ask the question “which summer”? For most of us living in the UK, we seen to be experiencing up to three different types of season in one day. That aside, summer season as always comes with its own rule of lightweight dressing and if at all you need to keep yourself warm then a layer of cardigan might be all that you need.

For women who still prefer wearing trousers, the secret to dressing comfortably in the summer for the office would be to go for lightweight, breathable pieces of clothing. I have created 3 looks below using cigarette trouser made of cotton, wool blend tapered trouser and khaki pant. I started by adding a pretty summer blouse which can either be worn by itself or with a belt.

With the blouse, you also can layer a lightweight cardigan or summer blazer over your blouse to change the look. You can always remove the outer layer when you head outside for lunch or commuting to work.

Whether in spring, summer, autumn or winter, there’s something animal related fashion trend going on.
