Colourful Straight Cut Trousers for Tall Women

Recently, I featured colourful capri trousers  in the USA for tall women from J Crew. And this time around, I am focusing on a colourful sateen trousers in the UK for tall women. In as much as I love jeans as it is one of my favourite wardrobe staples, but I’m glad that this version is made of cotton with the added elastane for comfort.

Available in cobalt blue, fuchsia and green blue, they are the colour trend for spring. You could go for an equally colour contrasting tops or add different texture by paring it with printed tops or better still you could simply wear a white top or shirt as it would make the perfect contrast for a bright hue.

Today marks the last day for the first month of the year 2012 – January. So whilst we are still in seasonal transition, we are not officially in spring yet! Most of us would be itching to wearing our warm weather wardrobes, but the reality at the moment is that we have to just get use to filling our wardrobe in anticipation of the upcoming season.

Tall Cream Floral Maxi Dress

One of the signs of knowing that we will soon be entering the warm weather months is where retailers starts to include maxi dresses into their collection. And over at Next, I came across this tall cream floral maxi dress from the Geri’s collection. If you are going to wear this type of maxi dress in floral and butterfly print, it is essential that the rest of the accessories are kept floral free.  If not, you end up looking a walking tree.

I am yet to buy an item from Geri’s clothing for Next, especially as they are featured in the NEXT tall collection, but one thing I like about this dress is that you could wear it when you are out in the town or as a cover up whilst on the beach.
