During the warm season, there seems to be this resurgence of chino or twill trousers. And these are usually seen in light brown / navy blue colours. So rather than remain in a rut, you could add dose of colour by purchasing this chino trouser in pink. I love then because they are pink and that’s what makes them different. You can try to wearing it with the standard white shirt for a weekend chic look but not too conservative.

Alternatively, you could add the wild factor to your style by pairing it with an animal print top.

I hope that by reading the title of this article, you don’t all of a sudden ask the question “which summer”? For most of us living in the UK, we seen to be experiencing up to three different types of season in one day. That aside, summer season as always comes with its own rule of lightweight dressing and if at all you need to keep yourself warm then a layer of cardigan might be all that you need.

For women who still prefer wearing trousers, the secret to dressing comfortably in the summer for the office would be to go for lightweight, breathable pieces of clothing. I have created 3 looks below using cigarette trouser made of cotton, wool blend tapered trouser and khaki pant. I started by adding a pretty summer blouse which can either be worn by itself or with a belt.

With the blouse, you also can layer a lightweight cardigan or summer blazer over your blouse to change the look. You can always remove the outer layer when you head outside for lunch or commuting to work.
