With the cardigan weather just round the corner, I have started to look at the cardigan selections currently for us tall ladies. For this post, I have gone for long line button cardigans, with the exception of the textile junkie which is a chunky but will still work wonders with the right style belt. It’s sweater season and there are so many styles to choose from whether you are going for the belted cardigan or double layered cardigan look which is both cute and practical for the cold winter months. Or alternatively if you are looking for something formal which is very suitable for work, these belted cardigans listed below can do the tricks.

Autumn is in full swing, means that I’m welcoming chunky knit sweaters with open arms. This essential cold weather wardrobe staple is one of my favourite ways to stay toasty and stylish throughout  autumn months. I have a stockpile of them, but also wanted to show you what’s available out there for the lovely tall ladies.

From my experience, I would wear lenghty chunky knit sweaters with slim fit trousers including  jeans or cords, leggings, thick opaque tights. And to prevent bulking up on top, it best to wear a  thin short or long sleeve t-shirt, turtlenecks or feminine blouses underneath. Take on this trend into your winter wardrobe and you will look cute whether you are out shopping with your girlfriends or drinking hot chocolate in your living room.

To some of us, winter fashion simply means black and grey coloured outfit which I don’t really adhere to. And for that reason, I have gone to Anthropologie to do some digging and discovered this gold (according to description though it looks more like mustard) coloured cardigan. Cardigans are a fashionable way of keeping yourself warm or adding accent to an otherwise plain-looking outfit. I love the deep pockets at the front and it’s quiet lengthy enough with a slouchy look. A lovely over-sized cardigan to go with your casual wardrobe to with your black or grey coloured outfits including jeans.
